SUMMARY:Reclaiming Agency: Understanding the Occupy Movement
DESCRIPTION:This semester Difficult Dialogues focuses on agency – a state of being that is opposite of paralyzed, distracted, complacent, and in denial of ones situation.  The Occupy movement is a collective act of agency in a revised and innovative display.  This dialogue will be focused on understanding the basics of the Occupy Movement, how it is an ultimate act of agency, why it is important, and how it challenges and changes our society.  Please come be a part of a collective exploration of understanding what Occupy means about personal agency and if we, as individuals, identify with the movement. 

There will be a community fire following the event for a continued informal conversation about the Occupy Movement.
